I have recorded much of my life with a camera in hand. With careers ranging from special education to retail stock brokerage to real estate sales and management, I have always found time for photography, eventually completing the professional photography certification at UCSD, though the learning never ends. Today I find that photography is my primary passion.
My first love is travel and landscape photography, however I also enjoy portrait photography, particularly with children (she has four grandchildren to practice on) and with families. Family memories are forever when captured in photographs that convey love and laughter, and sometimes pain, and at their best, turn memories into treasures. These are the future family heirlooms.
In 2010 I won the Epson International Panoramic Amateur Photographer of the Year award with the Storm Wave photograph, which propelled me to work even harder on photography. My objective in landscape photography is to make the viewer think “I want to be there” not to just say “I was there”. Anyone can take a snapshot, but there needs to be an emotional response to the photograph to transcend to fine art.
Photographs can be printed on fine art paper, on canvas, on metal, or bonded to a clear acrylic. They can be printed in sizes to fit your wall. Just ask.
